Another great volume showcasing African Americans from history that are not discussed or recognized very often (or not often enough). #28daysarenotenough

Strange Fruit Volumes I & II should be in every 3rd to 8th grade classroom. Excellent storytelling. Many stories I had not heard before. The crow representing Jim Crow, following & overshadowing many in the first volume was powerful imagery. I highly recommend both volumes.

An excellent series of graphic narratives. Strange Fruit I and II profile amazing African Americans largely forgotten by history, many of whom not much is known aside from an extraordinary moment or two. The Talented Tenth series expands on some of the better preserved histories. Most of the books should be available on hoopla. I highly recommend reading them, especially Bessie Stringfield. #28daysarenotenough
