This maybe didn't hit quite as hard as Love & Saffron - which I read in one delicious gulp - but it still gave me all the feels and I loved it.
Hubby read this book and enjoyed it. He decided we should go to the church book club meeting this Saturday, since this happens to be the book being discussed. So I am frantically trying to read as much as possible. I like it, just wish I could slow down and savor some of the beautiful writing. But he‘s so excited—he‘s never been to a book club. Not sure what will be more interesting, the discussion or his reaction 😄
