Overall, I liked this. It‘s powerful to hear women in their various situations tell their own stories. I was disappointed to see only 4 stories by POC (out of 11) when black women are incarcerated at 2x the rate of white women. BUT. Stories from prison are always powerful and disparaging sentencing was easily visible in this collection too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Book 22/30 for #bfcr2
