Over fifty years ago, Madeleine L'Engle introduced the world to A Wrinkle in Time and the wonderful and unforgettable characters Meg and Charles Wallace Murry, and their friend Calvin O'Keefe. Now all their adventures are together in one volume. The Time Quintet consists of A Wrinkle in Time, A Wind in the Door, A Swiftly Tilting Planet, Many Waters, and An Acceptable Time. A Wrinkle in TimeThis Newberry Award winner is one of the most significant novels of our time. This fabulous, ground-breaking science-fiction and fantasy story is the first of five in the Time Quintet series about the Murry family. A Wind in the DoorWhen Charles Wallace falls ill, Meg, Calvin, and their teacher, Mr. Jenkins, must travel inside C.W. to make him well, and save the universe from the evil Echthros. A Swiftly Tilting PlanetThe Murry and O'Keefe Families enlist the help of the unicorn, Gaudior, to save the world from imminent nuclear war. Many WatersMeg Murry, now in college, time travels with her twin brothers, Sandy and Dennys, to a desert oasis that is embroiled in war. An Acceptable TimeWhile spending time with her grandparents, Alex and Kate Murry, Polly O'Keefe wanders into a time 3,000 years before her own.

Panpan

An obvious rip off of C S Lewis out of the silent planet. The main characters had no development the book encouraged the opposite.

My in-laws know me so well. Bought me a new Billy Bookcase for Christmas 😃❤❤ so I spent today rearranging some shelves and moving some stuff around (I wanted to get all my shelves together on one wall instead of two. So now I'm ready for my father-in-law to drop of my new shelf (it is too long to fit in our car.)

MrBook Wow!!! #NiceStack! 7y
RebelReader Always fun to rearrange shelves and of course get an additional one! 😍 7y
TheWhiteHatter @brilliantglow , rearranging bookshelves is a surprisingly rewarding activity I think. Have fun setting up your new shelevs! My wife and I are always trying to figure out how to fit more booksheleves in our house😉 7y
brilliantglow @MrBook Thanks! I can't wait to get them off the floor though and back onto my shelf 7y
brilliantglow @RebelReader @TheWhiteHatter thanks! I love doing it. The biggest challenge is trying to figure out how to arrange books onto full shelves in order to make room for that one more book I thought would fit haha. I'm very excited to have another shelf to work with now. And It's much nicer having them on one wall even if I'm not sure about the arrangement of the rest of my living room now. 7y

Multi-task reading! My cat on my lap and my daughter's cat under the coffee table both playing with this string of beaded garland. #catsoflitsy

This book is starting to get better (still on A wrinkle in time) but I still think Meg is annoying.

I'm in recovery mode after the #pieincident 😂😂 have to wait for butter to thaw before I can make another batch of dough. So I'm taking a break and having a hot hot bubble bath and a cold delicious drink. 🍷🍷🍷 and reading a couple of chapters. I'm on the fence so far about this book. I just really find Meg annoying and Charles Wallace is kind of a really unbelievable character. 🤔🤔

I've read my way through most of Madeline L'Engle's bibliography over the years (just a few left, four of which are currently on my #kindle) & #family is a continuous theme across her work. When it comes to picking one though, I must admit that I prefer Kairos to Chronos or any of the other families she writes about. A Wrinkle In Time remains one of my all time favorite books & my love for the Murray-O'Keefe's knows no bounds.

Good story. Easy read. I am not used to jumping from family member to family member, but I do like personal growth for each character, the history, and the theories involved.
