pickA well-tempered heart is the sequel to The Art of hearing heartbeats. Equally beautiful and enthralling. I enjoyed it almost as much as the art of hearing heartbeats. Almost. Another very compelling, moving story. I just wish it had one or two more chapters. It has one of those endings that leave you wanting to know exactly what happens next instead of being left wondering! Still, I absolutely loved this book!
pickA good sequel to the art of hearing heartbeats. I read this in 24 hours. Makes me want to visit Burma more now. U Ba is a awesome character. Good storyline that kept me interested. Would recommend.
I loved The Art of Hearing Heartbeats losing myself in the story. Yet in the sequel, A Well Tempered Heart, I keep hoping to get lost in the same way but alas I have less than an hour to go. I'm listening to the audio book so perhaps it is the reader that's preventing the sweet abandon.
