This F story is adorable and would be a lovely selection for SR. It teaches about cause and effect and the class could create a timeline to show the sequence of events that occur when you take a mouse to school (ESOL 42). Additionally,props could be brought in and displayed for better understanding of items in the book such as a lunchbox, backpack etc (UDL 1.1)

This F PB written by Laura Numeroff and illustrated by Felicia Bond would make be great for S or an AS. Laura has written many children‘s books that kids love such as: If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. This book is about a mouse who goes to school and asks for one item then continues to ask for more things throughout the day. I would use the ESOL strategy 10 by having students work in pairs and compare notes about the Author after reading.

I was very pleasantly surprised to see that this was included with my daughter's Happy Meal instead of a stupid toy. It entirely alleviated my guilt about getting McDonald's instead of cooking...which I didn't feel like doing bc I stayed up late last night reading 🤔 do you guys see the pattern there lol
