Do You Think She's a Witch
Do You Think She's a Witch | Judith M Ackerman

There was an old woman all dressed in black, she had a mole on her nose and a bump on her back! A beautifully illustrated, poetic story that keeps your children guessing. Is she a witch? Could it possibly be true? She looks just like one, OR DID SHE FOOL YOU? I could tell you more, but I do not want to give it away!Let your children keep guessing! Please let me know their reaction! I would love for you to give me a review and tell me your children's reaction to my story.I am a new author and would appreciate it! Thank you so much!

2.5 ⭐This book is half done. The author does a decent job rhyming and while this story has a cadence there was about four cadences that the author switches around. The illustrations feel old-fashioned but at the same time go well with the story. However, the story ends in the middle of nowhere. It feels like the book isn‘t finished. However if it were to get an ending, it would probably be too long.

A rhyming tale about a local woman - old and dressed in black, with a mole on her nose and a hunched back - who is taken for a witch by the children in town. Given my love for both witchy picture-books, and stories of 'the crone,' I was hoping to enjoy this one. Unfortunately, I found the rhyming text awkward, and the artwork not to my taste. Hopefully others will enjoy it more than I did.
