pick13/52-3/5 - I did enjoy reading this book but it was a challenge. It was published in 1920 & it is a reprint, but there are no images, chapters or headings. It was written by Rilke, the poet & good friend of Rodin & the language is beautiful. Fortunately, I have seen a lot of Rodin‘s sculptures so I could make the necessary connections. I‘m looking forward to finishing the book “you must change your life” which is about Rodin & Rilke‘s friendship.
Keeping with my Paris theme, I hope to finish reading this little gem about Rodin using my bookmark of The Thinker this evening. You may also notice the painting of Paris in the background that I bought from a street vendor Montmartre. Who knew a tomboy like me that grew up in an eastern KY coal mining town would grow up fascinating by art and international travel.

Just sold this beautiful antique book about the french sculptor, Auguste Rodin. The book is 110 years old and is written in German.
