I really liked the idea of a sentient inn that helps spirits to move on to the afterlife and its new innkeeper, who can see ghosts, and needs to learn the ropes. The atmosphere of the inn was incredible, I wish I could have joined the spirits for one of their tea parties.

julesG What spoilt the story for me was the pacing. All the wonderful descriptions and the atmosphere created took time and it wasn't until nearly the halfway mark for the love-interest and with him some conflict to arrive. Since the romance had to move at a faster pace now, it felt like insta-love. 3w
