Freida never fails to blow me away! I was completely hooked by this novel. Normally, I can spot the killer halfway through, but this time, I was left guessing until the very end. The story had so many twists—an ex-detective boyfriend, a current one, and even a creepy stalker thrown in the mix. The ending? Absolutely mind-blowing! 😱🔪📖 🎧

This is a quick read with a decent plot twist. The characters are good. Some of the writing is meh. But I did enjoy listening to it.

“If I grabbed her head and gave it a solid twist to the left, I could break her neck. It wouldn‘t even be hard to do.”

The story revolves around main character Sydney, who finds herself entangled in a web of lies when she enters a seemingly perfect relationship with Tom, the ever so handsome doctor. There are soo many characters in this book who are questionable and when I say I did not see the ending coming - those are my favorite sort of stories. I thought I had it and was completely wrong. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Another great novel from Ms. McFadden. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who the killer is. Let me tell you; the reveal will blow you away. I highly recommend this book.

Just okay. I didn‘t guess the twist but just couldn‘t fall in love with it.

Outside, to my delight, it is 43° and drizzly. Inside, one of my favorite seasonal mugs and a story that, while not seasonal, is shaping up to be creepy.

I was guessing until the end-the killer could be any of the group of characters! Who can be trusted? What makes the perfect boyfriend or girlfriend? Trust no one??

This will have you questioning every Tinder and Bumble profile, second-guessing every “perfect match”.

The creep factor in this book is off the charts! Except for Jake, I was judgey on everyone from beginning to end. This was a pile of fun to read.

Went with two thrillers for October's #BOTM. I'm behind on them but thrillers tend to be quick reads especially if they're good--which I hope they are. What did you pick?
