I liked this book, the pictures were pleasing and it was cute to read. The pictures gave a lot of detail to the story. It looks like water colors were used, so this could be a good entrance to an art lesson too!

I think I would use this in my classroom if I had students who enjoyed camping, if that was a part of their life and hobbies. It's a good way to explain what happens during camping and all the beautiful parts of nature and outdoors.

“The sun is hanging low behind the mountains, and the woods begin to feel dark.“

I would read this book, especially with my current placement in a rural school district. Many of my students would have the background knowledge to enjoy this book about camping. This book is very descriptive.

(picturebook) This book introduces young readers to the joys and wonders of camping from setting up a tent to building a campfire. It is simple yet descriptive. This book is both informative and entertaining.

“You can see a million fireflies when you are camping.“

This would be a wonderful book to talk about camping or in a younger classroom setting up a dramatic play area, the illustrations are amazing and detailed to look at.

When you are camping by Anne Lee published in 2012. This story follows two sisters and her parents on a camping trip. She explains all the normal, mundane things you do while on a amping trip but how much she loves them. The illustrations are done by water color in a simple way, this creates a colorful fun world. When it is raining or there in water thats shown by the colors smearing which adds another element to the story.
