One thing I really like about SVHSY is that Jess and Liz both become more balanced as people. Liz isn‘t so self righteous and Jess isn‘t so shallow. Jess gets humbled in this book. She is fooling around with Will Simmons, the quarterback from ECH who is now at SVH after the earthquake. She doesn‘t know he has a psychotic girlfriend who is the old cheerleading captain from ECH, Melissa Fox. When Melissa finds out, instead of being mad at Will, ⬇️

JenlovesJT47 She makes it her personal mission from hell to ruin Jessica‘s reputation. Rumors are flying all over school that Jess has been sleeping with the entire football team, and she walks into class one day to see “Jessica Wakefield is a slut” written on the blackboard. She realizes just how far down in the toilet her reputation is at the end of the book when she walks into a school dance and is immediately slut shamed for her “slutty” red dress. Lila ⬇️ 3mo
JenlovesJT47 And Amy have also abandoned her and befriended Melissa and her witchy friends, who are now the “popular” girls. Meanwhile, Elizabeth denies her feelings for Connor and has to suffer in silence while her bff Maria starts dating Connor. More drama with this in the next book. 4.5⭐️ #SweetValley #SweetValleySeniorYear #SVH #SVHSY #twins #nostalgia 👯‍♀️ (edited) 3mo
