Ellen takes an instant disliking to her & humiliates her whenever she gets the chance. Liz of course befriends her. What would we do without Saint Liz? 😆 She talks Ginny Lu into entering the Arts & Crafts fair at school & Ginny Lu ups and runs away because she thinks people are making fun of her. Ginny Lu Culpepper from Stony Gap, TN moves to #SweetValley to stay with her aunt & makes immediate enemies with Ellen Riteman. Ellen & Lila especially make fun of Ginny Lu‘s “hillbilly” ways— all the more once Ginny Lu befriends Ellen‘s horse who is pregnant & being snappish. Despite support from Liz and her mother, Ginny Lu wants to return home where no one makes fun of her accent. But she stays for the horse & wins best booth for her carvings!
