pickMrs. W. is sick & the doctor doesn‘t know what‘s wrong with her. They find a lump on her neck & she has to get tests done. Meanwhile, Mr. W. is on a work trip to NYC, so Jess takes it upon herself to boss Liz & Steven around & do all the housework while their mom is sick. Jess is worried sick that her mom is dying & makes the unfortunate mistake of telling Caroline, the biggest gossip in Sweet Valley. Soon, the whole school thinks Mrs. W. is ⬇️

She gets given the lead in the school musical by default because everyone thinks her mom is dying. They finally get the test results back & Mrs. W. doesn‘t have cancer, yay! But soon Jess starts feeling guilty about how she got the lead in the play, & she fesses up & does the right thing. It was nice seeing a softer side to Jessica, who ⬇️ 2w
