so-soA decent tale, marred by an inconsistent tone. Mankind breaks into a new dimension full of creatures resembling demons. Dubbed ‘Hell‘ a new strike force is set up to patrol it; Hellcops. At its core this is a procedural. But it wants to be taken seriously while simultaneously trying to be cute/ funny. The world building is detailed, but occasionally clunky, like when it‘s revealed the local currency is called ‘Hellcoin‘. Ugh.
