'Tis the Season to Get Married
'Tis the Season to Get Married | J. P. Sterling
2 posts | 2 read
Holidays are a time to eat, drink and get married! Or at least that is what my best friend, Nick, and I joked about but neither one of us thought would happen! It all started with a marriage pact-if neither of us were married by the time we were thirty, we would meet in Mapleton on Christmas and get hitched. We even booked the honeymoon suite to seal the pact! Then we went on with our separate lives, sure we would never need a backup mate. Then it happened. The holiday turned into a Holidaze. I woke up in a honeymoon suite with a wedding gown on. Clearly, it was a misunderstanding-we didn't actually get married. We did the most obvious thing and retraced our steps. However, while waiting to find out my true marital status, my heart started to go thumpity-thump, making me ponder if maybe I did have feelings for Nick. Now I must decide if I should confess my feelings, and risk ruining our friendship, or forever wonder if we could be happy together. 'Tis the Season to Get Married is a clean and wholesome, friends-to-lovers, romantic comedy.

This book is part of the Christmas Shenanigans series. A marriage pact between friends, a huge dog, Christmas in a small Vermont town and shenanigans galore! This was such a sweet, fun story and I loved it. Another win from J. P. Sterling!

Book 171 of the year.
