so-soI‘m about 1/3 of the way through this and I can‘t find a plot. Penny wants a job, gets a job, then experiences her job. And then seems to want nothing. A cypher of a character. There is something dark about the interplay of capitalism and dreaming and that unacknowledged darkness against the coziness of the setting is kinda odd.
I'm starting my book club book with only 4 days until we get together to talk about it. 😅 I'm pretty sure I'll finish it in time. It looks fun! 😁
