It's an enemies-to-lovers, forbidden, forced proximity dark romance. I love how K.E. is highlighting another illness in this one like she did in the NOLA Defiance MC series with Lani. Maverick & Sadie are explosive once they take the plunge. I'm so loving this series, it's insane. Where K.E. gets some of her character ideas from is beyond me but they are crazy.
