Toxic | 
pickMy July‘s book of the month was Hex, and technically should‘ve been the winner between July and August. It was the better book, I will give it that. But Toxic, my August win, hit a little too close to home for me. I work as a therapist, part-time at a prison, and I have seen nurses walk off the yard for what this book talks about. I don‘t condone anything that took place in this book, but it was awful in such a good way.
