The twins‘ grandparents send them silk orchids as a Valentine‘s Day present, so Jessica decides to start the Orchid Club with Lila & Ellen. But you have to have a silk orchid to join. Liz thinks they‘re snobs so she starts the Sunflower Club where anyone can join. Jess soon feels left out. This had a cute ending. Oh, to be a kid again. 4⭐️

lil1inblue Oh, this brings me back. I was obsessed with the Sweet Valley Saga. 😍 3w
JenlovesJT47 @lil1inblue I LOVE the Sweet Valley sagas! My first foray into historical fiction. I would read them over and over again. ❤️ 3w

It‘s another #SweetValleyValentinesDay for the second grade class, and Ned‘s parents sent gifts from Hawaii— including a special orchid pin that inspires the first exclusive club of Sweet Valley. Because Liz‘s gets held up in the mail, only Jessica, Lila and Ellen are members of Orchid Club. In retaliation, Liz snubs them with creating the everyone-is-welcome Sunflower Club. And we finally catch a glimpse of none other than 1Bruce1 Patman here!

JenlovesJT47 It was like a celebrity sighting at the end of this book, seeing Bruce drive away in a limousine 😆😅 3w
TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 I know!! What a cameo!! Also, it sure makes it seem like the Patmans are definitely wealthier than the Fowlers! 3w
JenlovesJT47 Yep for sure. The Patmans are old money. Dear neglectful Mr. Fowler is a self made man lol. Their rival in high school is fun. 3w

TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 Oooo— I know the SVU books are mostly new to you, so I really can‘t wait for you to read those!! There‘s some more Fowler/Patman drama there that‘s quite memorable!!😬 3w
JenlovesJT47 Yes I can‘t wait to get to those! Every time Jess and Liz interact with Bruce, whether it be middle school, high school, whatever, I always remember Bruce & Liz being together in The Sweet Life and him rocking her world if you know what I mean 😳😅. So funny! 3w
TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 I thought I remembered those two getting together in high school for a quick minute?? But the university years, not so much! 3w
JenlovesJT47 They definitely date or whatever you‘d like to call it in SVH. In the one where Liz gets in a motorcycle accident then starts acting like Jessica for awhile 😆 they also get together in one of the miniseries, where they think Mr. Patman & Mrs. W are having an affair. I dunno about the college years but in the Sweet Life miniseries when they are 30, Liz and Bruce are hot and heavy. Sweet Valley Confidential was crap but I love the Sweet Life⬇️ 3w
JenlovesJT47 Miniseries, it was so ridiculous and fun and I wish they‘d write more 🤓😬 3w
TorieStorieS @JenlovesJT47 I definitely remember the affair one— that was what I was thinking of and I also loved the Sweet Life— I felt like a kid waiting up on release days for it to be on my kindle at midnight! Though I think that only worked for the first two— after that, I had to wait for PST midnight! Still, I would also love more Sweet Valley! 3w
