Tagged my most favorite of 2024, I waited 16 years for this prequel. ❤️📚 🐕
Finished Familiaris and read the Lisa Marie book (heartbreaking)…and finished the Kennedy audiobook.

1. Watermelon (but icy cold and in summer)
2. The tagged book. One of the characters became a chef and would cook for his friends. If you really enjoyed the book “The Story of Edgar Sawtelle”…this is the prequel. A slow read, a big book…but I enjoyed it alot.

1. Yes. But I eat it during the month because we don‘t get trick-or-treaters.
2. I am reading Familiaris….dogs, friendship, loyalty

A very big and at times a very slow book. I happen to be at a good part (around page 300). The follow -up to The Story of Edgar Sawtelle (loved).

Consider yourself tagged. Yes, YOU.
The story of John Sawtelle, his wife Mary, his friends, and the dogs they raise.

This book is loooooong - at times too long (900+ pages). There isn‘t a plot, just a narrative about a man living his life. The writing is soothing, but I would not recommend for someone who prefers a twisty beach read with action and mystery.
I squee‘d out loud at my office today when I saw I was accepted to read this through NetGalley. I have literally been waiting a decade for this book, 980 pages is daunting but I feel very grateful for it! 📚 💕
