Bronte is the first girl to go to knight school, and she is not happy with how lazy and unadventurous the knights are. She jumps straight into danger, and tries to save everyone single-handedly, whilst dragging her new friend Tonkins into increasingly dangerous situations, which he does not want to be in. A cute book in many ways, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me.

Bronte Tempestra is striving to be a lady Knight.
But the snag is in her world it's a career dominated by boys.
Sir Sebastian's school has just allowed girls to be admitted to its hallowed halls.
But to Bronte's surprise the other students don't even seem to want to BE knights, they are lazy.
Then the famous Lightning steeds go missing, the kingdom is in danger.
Bronte knows that no one will help her to solve this situation but herself.
