This modern Persephone/Hades re-telling is SO GOOD Why did I not know about it before?? Persephone, an artist, is aged up to late 20s for de-creepification. She becomes an intern at the Olympus magazine empire, where Hades is in charge of Finance in the basement (also not in her chain of command - see, not creepy!) It's fantastic.

Lauredhel They are real grownups, there are no contrived miscommunications, he's genuinely Hades but not gloomy, and the other Greek-god characters all feel true but not cliche.

HEARTILY recommended.
