Octavia Bright of Literary Friction podcast.
This is her account of the first 7 years of her recovery from alcoholism as she was simultaneously losing her beloved father to Alzheimer's. Also (life not being one damned thing after another so much as an onslaught of all of the things, all at once) the tender beginnings of a new romance.
Poignant and never wallowy, it was a joy to read... however inappropriate that sounds, given the subject matter.
