This summer, I have one goal: field work. I need it to finish my PhD. I never expected Finn Rhodes to offer help. He broke my heart twelve years ago, and now that he’s back in town, I want nothing to do with him.

We were inseparable as kids until everything changed. Now, he’s all grown up—tattooed, muscled, and unfairly hot… and insists we’re meant to be together. I know he’ll grow bored of me and this small town like before, but he’ll never give up unless it’s his idea.

Between hiking the back country and cringe-worthy dates designed to turn him off, I begin to remember why we were best friends. Despite how hard I try, Finn isn’t interested in dumping me… and now I’m not sure I want him to.

That was a fabulous, deliciously spicy, swoon-worthy romantic comedy. I loved the characters, their antics and dynamic.

I'm addicted to this series and I can't wait for Beck's story! I'll count the author as my go to read from now on.

The book felt a bit long in some parts but still not dragging. I wished for some more character development considering the length. However, the characters are sufficiently complex and there was character growth.

Another excellent, steamy addition to the Queen's Cove series! This one has been lingering on the fringes through all of the other books, since Olivia has been VERY vocal about her hatred for her former best friend (and youngest Rhodes brother), Finn. In their story, we finally figured out what broke them apart as kids, and watched them grow into the romantic love that neither of them wanted to acknowledge for so long. STEAM ON STEAM ON STEAM 🔥
