This ones a killer. Erika T. Wurth, author of White Horse Liz Kerins Nights Edge is a sun-drenched novel about the darkest secrets we hide and how monstrous we can be to the ones we love most. Having a mom like Izzy meant Mia had to grow up fast. No extracurriculars, no inviting friends over, and definitely no dating. The most important rule: Tell no one of Izzys hunger the kind only blood can satisfy. But Mia is in her twenties now and longs for a life of her own. One where she doesnt have to worry about anyone discovering their terrible secret, or breathing down her neck. When Mia meets rebellious musician Jade she dares to hope shes found a way to leave her home and her mom behind. It just might be Mias only chance of getting out alive. Nights Edge is a gruesome and surprisingly heartfelt page-turner.Alexis Henderson, author of House of Hunger

4.5⭐
⬗ A wholly unique Vampire story where it‘s less about “paranormal-type” vampires and more like an epidemic/plague called Saratov Syndrome. Sort of like Covid but you turn into a blood-sucker. This book seriously vibes with the song “Down With The Sickness” by Disturbed.
⬗ The narration by Chase Sui Wonders was performed fairly well.

🎧 A coming of age story intertwined with a vampire-like story.

Mia‘s mom needs her blood.

Multi-timeline. Mia grows up fast! She doesn‘t get to do extracurricular activities. Friends can‘t come over. She‘s isolated with a volatile blood drinker.

Mia meets & becomes entangled with a girl in a band while Mia‘s mom looks for companionship elsewhere. The lies begin to pile up, pushing this co-dependent relationship towards a cliff.
