so-so#serieslove2023 This sequel to Liar‘s Crown was just okay. I felt the same about both books- eh. Meren is just trying to save her sister and keep her friends and loved ones safe but everything keeps going wrong and they keep failing. I guess I have to read the 3rd book to see how it ends and if they can defeat the evil villain. 🤷🏼♀️ 3 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️
panI am so sad that this was a letdown! I loved The Liar's Crown, but the sequel was really a womp womp ⭐⭐ for me. Very little going on here in the way of plot, but also lacked the vibes to make up for it. (Also only available from my library in Libby edition so I couldn't read it on Kindle.)
