This is the third book in the Detective Annalisa Vega series. I hope it's not the last. I've read and enjoyed all three and others by this author. I always get happy when I see a new book by Joanna Schaffhausen. She's one of my favorite authors.

Absolutely loved this entry in the Detective Annalisa Vega series!! So many mysteries brought up in this book and it‘s brilliant how Schaffhausen ties them all up. Great growth for Annalisa as a character too!! If you‘ve read the previous books you‘ll love this one and won‘t be able to wait for the 4th one coming out next year! Also, I interact w/ the author on Instagram & she‘s so appreciative of her readers & responds to comments!

Annalisa is back dealing with her cases and a secret in her personal life.

The case she is assigned to is pretty brutal.

DEAD AND GONE has quite a bit going on with all these cases, but we have more things to think about and more cases to try to solve.
