The author of the twisty, fast-paced (The Sunday Times, London) Greenwich Park returns with a fresh and deftly paced thriller about murder, class, and motherhood in one of Londons toniest communities. When a young nanny dies under mysterious circumstances near new mom Tashs home, she is certain that this could be the story to relaunch her journalism career. Meanwhile, she also needs to find a local playgroup for her son. Nearby is the gorgeous neighborhood filled with wealthy and friendly families, stunning houses, and lavish playdates. But when another young woman is found dead, its clear theres much more to the community than meets the eye and the more Tash investigates, the more shes led uncomfortably close to the mothers in her sons playgroup. Are these women really her friends? Or is there another, more dangerous reason why she has been accepted into their exclusive world? Who, exactly, is investigating who?

This was deliciously twisted and twisty! I liked this much more than the author‘s 1st book. I love these sorts of domestic dramas/rich people behaving badly and this was a solid example of that sort of sub genre. This is more than a murder mystery, however, and I liked the focus on postpartum issues mothers can have as well as on mothers whose passions can lie outside the home as well. Good audiobook and good story overall! 🌟🌟🌟🌟💫

Little bit of a change of pace after my last few reads. Haven‘t read a thriller in a while, so far so good.

This was an enjoyable enough of a read and fast paced. Read this one for the new mystery/thriller book club at my local independent bookstore. As we discussed it there were mentioning of a lot of things that maybe didn‘t make this book so great, but it‘s serves the purpose of a mystery/thriller if you‘re looking for a fix. There was debate over the ending & eager to hear what others thought about it. I havent read the author‘s other book but I may

3.5/5
The Other Mothers kept me interested, and kept me guessing. Everyone is a suspect. Unfortunately, I found the wrap up just a teensy bit too outlandish and contrived for my liking. Overall, an enjoyable read if you're looking for something to keep you on your toes until the end.

I really enjoyed this book and got immersed in the stories of all the moms. Probably could have been shortened a bit. Took 1 star because I didn't enjoy the ending. 4/5

As with her previous book, the author has once again focused on motherhood in this domestic thriller. It is told from two POVs in two time periods a few years apart. There was lots of twists and turns, many flawed characters and some instances where you could not help ponder what you would do in the same circumstance. While it was not quite as good as “Greenwich Park“ it was still a very enjoyable read and I look forward to more from her. 4/5!

This book was slow at first, but definitely picked up with some interesting twists in the end. I like books that tie up all the life ends and this one did that. Some the choices Tash made were a bit shocking but not altogether unpredictable. I would recommend this one but it wasn't my all time fave or anything. 🌟🌟🌟✨

This was a solid 4 star read for me. I was absorbed in trying to figure out the mystery (what happened to a nanny that used to work for a wealthy family) and felt the ending was satisfying and surprising. It‘s a book I was fine to #borrownotbuy but I enjoyed it!

Started this one a few days ago and it's been a little slow from Natasha's POV, but from the POV of Sophie it's actually really quick. Basically, Natasha is a reporter researching the untimely death of Sophie. Sophie is a nanny for a wealthy family that Natasha knows. There is a whole 6 degrees of separation thing happening here. It's been good even if a little slow in certain areas and I'm pumped to see how it ends!

Tash, a freelance journalist, begins researching the death of a young woman, Sophie. She slowly realizes her investigation intertwines with her new life & the affluent mothers of her son‘s playgroup. As she navigates around what is true, she finds herself sucked into their world while also becoming more obsessed with Sophie‘s case.

I love a book with a ton of tiny twists and reveals that keep you guessing and this book certainly had that!
