So technically this is not about the tagged book, but it‘s so interesting I have to post it: https://www.newyorker.com/magazine/2018/04/30/japans-rent-a-family-industry This is a piece by Elif Batuman about rental families in Japan and it is truly fascinating.

It's #recommedsday again, and forgot about that time in 2014 when I made all my friends promise me they would read this. So visceral and raw! So good! Loved the Japanese cultural references.

CatMS Found this book at my library bookstore and have been fascinated by hikikomoris so it is now on my shelves to read, will.pull.out and put on my stack to read soon. 3d
