I read about half of this before deciding to ditch—more of a focus on potential romantic tension than actually telling the story.

I LOVE Lynn Cullen! Her historical fiction is top notch and always does that wonderful thing of truly great hisfic: it makes me crave to learn more about the topics/people being discussed and sends me down so many google rabbit holes. I had never heard of Dr. Horstmann before but she was amazing! I was born in the late 70s so I don‘t have any memory of polio being a huge problem but I couldn‘t help but relate it to what we‘ve all gone through ⬇️
I took a drive to my closest Barnes and Noble (about 30ish minutes away from me depending on Tampa traffic 🤦🏼♀️) specifically for The Woman With the Cure (I LOVE Lynn Cullen‘s writing) and came home with two more 🤣! I‘ve had my eyes on The Snow Hare for a while and couldn‘t not pick up Thread Needle after seeing that cover. Thread Needle isn‘t my typical kind of story so hopefully I like it!
