This lovely gift from my mom was for Christmas. I'm obsessed with Encanto. I began reading this Christmas night into the early hours of Dec. 26.

While everything essential seemed to be included, there where a few things that were missing...But I guess this is just me being persnickety LOL.

I did wish for more depth, and that the story slowed its pace. For me, it felt too impersonal. Not immersive. Yet, this was made for junior readers.
