I actually just read all the Present chapters. The rest I skipped. I think this story should be stopped soon. Just because its popular,there is no point of adding more books to the extent that there is no more storyline. It will just become a repetition. Stop while people still love it.
One burning question though: What is actually Kieran's role? Will he forever become a sidepiece to Poppy and Cas? Maybe he needs to have his own love story.

I enjoyed reading the beginnings of this story from Hawke‘s perspective, though there were some romantic elements that were a little disappointing. Poppy‘s perspective is definitely better, but I flew through this book and would read more from this perspective.

Finally back to reading physical books. Though only when this little guy is fast asleep.

I‘m actually really enjoying this retelling of the first book from Cas‘s view. More details about all the things happening around Poppy.

#serieslove2023 This next one in the series felt like a filler. It‘s the story of Poppy & Cas told from his point of view. I found this a great reminder of the story so I‘m prepared for the next book. She did include a few new chapters picking up the story line in the present day again setting us up for the next book. I still loved it though! 4 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was positively suprised. Though most of the events were known from book 1, I could not put the book down. It was so well written. I got all sentimental. If the dedication was not clear enough, the writing proved that this book was clearly written out of love for the readers.
The last chapter included an amazing showdown. There was an easter egg in book 1. The revelation was done beautifully but the next book cannot come soon enough!
