so-soThis one was disappointing. It sort of fizzled out at the end—the overall interesting story of three brothers coming to power by not necessarily clean means ending abruptly, flat. I like Parker‘s novellas largely for their ambivalent but neat endings, so it was a huge blow against this one. But it was fun (until it rather abruptly wasn‘t), and I don‘t regret reading it.
