pickThis story was published in 2002. This story is about a young girl, Annabelle, who discovers a fairy family in her “garden“. Together Annabelle and the fairy family spend a day doing magical things together. I see why this story won the Kate Greenaway Medal because it has amazing illustrations. The illustrations do a great job of telling the story. This is a fictional story that I would read to my future classroom.
