This was a great read

Thought this was cute.

I decided to read this book after going to a Books & Brunch event where Genevieve Graham was one of the authors interviewed. I liked the characters and I enjoyed the historical setting (especially the fact that it takes place during the Halifax Explosion). A very readable historical romance book.

The second book for my Halifax Explosion reading. This one edged out Barometer Rising for me, probably because of the storyline focusing more on people over the city of Halifax. If that makes sense. I started this one in audio, but the narrator ventured into drag queen territory when voicing the female characters. 🙄 So I finished in ebook.
