This is the 24th book in the series and again Theodosia and Drayton become involved in investigating murders of neighbors. I really love the characters and the setting. I love everything about this series except how Theo is starting to act and say she thinks she knows better than the police. She just expects that she should be getting info from them because she snoops and is quick to tell them all her random guesses, except when it‘s something important she should actually be sharing. Also, I‘ve started noticing she doesn‘t solve the cases so much as stumbles upon the murderer. Or the murderer goes after her.

I enjoyed this book very much. It could be read as a standalone, although it is best to read the whole series to get more character background. I loved the setting of the tea shop and the cast of supporting characters. I don't quite believe that a tea shop could have so much business. I would like to visit the shop and sample some teas. I can see myself reading more in the series and more by the author. She writes with a nice, comforting style.
