pickI finished this #audiobook on my drive home from my parents. Sadly after I still had 3 and a half hours left to drive after it was done. Overall it was a good listen. It could have easily pissed me off, but thankfully it didn‘t. It also left me wanting to see Rome again and wishing I‘d done something with my art degree.

I‘ve decided on a romance for my drive to Northern Maine tomorrow. I enjoyed Wallbanger a lot and this one sounds good. #audiobooks
so-soCould've been the co-authorship with Nina Bocci or just one of those things where a story doesn't quite hit home but Roman Crazy was a lukewarm, sluggish (and lacking somewhat in the relatable, charming characters Alice Clayton is widely known for) attempt at traveling the woman-scorned-catching-the-one-who-got-away redemption road. I'd recommend her Redhead Revealed series of books to anyone. This? Not so meh-ch.

bailedI am totally bummed with Roman Crazy. I'm a fan of Alice Clayton and have always enjoyed her books. Roman Crazy was unlike all her other books. And at the start, I liked it. The main character, Avery was down on her luck and I really wanted to see where her chance at happiness would take her in Rome. Unfortunately, as the book went on, I really started to dilike her. There was a lot of lying and way too much cheating.⠀
pickI adored this book. Roman Crazy just might be the best romance of the year. I want my own Marcello to show me around Rome, to take me to Lake Como, to cook delicious Italian food for me, and to ravish me ;-)
