pick4☆ A gripping tale of resilience, questioned loyalties, morality, reckoning, love, and family as one soldier navigates being caught between two occupations in the fallout of WW2. I dont pick up stories about war times very often but this one intrigued me and I ended up really enjoying it! Lazurko's storytelling skills shine in this powerful, sweeping, timeless story that I couldn't help but get pulled into.
