As with any true crime book, I also feel it is important to tell the story of the victims, which I think the author took great care with. The brazen nature of his murders, and the fact that he was able to continue for so long taking as many people as he did was both disturbing and chilling. True crime readers will find this takes you right into the heart of a cold blooded killer.

I watched a documentary on this topic with the author participating with telling about her interaction with Sam Little. It was really interesting and scary at the same time. Still catching up on my audio reviews. Another I found lacking, though I don‘t know what could have been done differently. Again, it‘s probably me and not the book 😑
A true crime investigation in which the author puts herself in the story, the present day timeline. Past crimes committed by Samuel Little (America‘s most prolific serial killer) are the other chapters which Lauren places readers in the action, from the perspective of victims.
