'A beautiful and clever book about being human' Russell Brand COMEDY. TRAGEDY. THERAPY. Simon Amstell did his first stand-up gig at the age of thirteen. His parents had just divorced and puberty was confusing. Trying to be funny solved everything. HELP is the hilarious and heartbreaking account of Simons ongoing compulsion to reveal his entire self on stage. To tell the truth so it cant hurt him any more. Loneliness, anxiety, depression this book has it all. And more. From a complicated childhood in Essex to an Ayahuasca-led epiphany in the Amazon rainforest, this story will make you laugh, cry and then feel happier than youve ever been.

3/23 This is a short sharp funny look at one man‘s journey to self acceptance. The fact that that man is someone I grew up loving to watch of TV made this even more enjoyable. I helped make this car circle with my little boy whilst I had one ear listening to the book today 😂 4⭐️

Cinfhen That‘s awesome!!!! Looks great 😊 2y
AmyG That is amazing. I am so doing this with my grandson and ALL his cars and trucks. I am babaysitting this weekend so that should kill about 15 minutes. 🤣 (edited) 2y
