Hmm. Mostly good. Love the Scottish mythology and having a heroine with an ability that allows drawings to come to life... a few elements where a bit underdeveloped but I‘m hoping any lingering confusion will be banished with the second volume.

Well. I ended up not leaving the house today cos it's so cold out. Soooo I'm using goodreads!! Comics I read today+yesterday.
1) Read both volumes of Red Thorn. It's alllllllll about Scottish mythology, so if that's your game then try it out. (Redcaps! Harry Potter taught me well!)
2) Greek Street. Modern retellings of Greek mythology. 70% nude strippers, 30% actual story. Clearly an all-male creative team. Don't recommend.
3) Vegan snackies 🍻
It did not make me want to run out and find the 2nd volume but maybe the story gets better as it goes along. It wasn't BAD but just didn't make me very invested in what happens to the characters.
Got a late start because I stayed up too late last night then I burnt the bacon for my lunch. What a STINKY MESS. Everything's clean now. First book today in my #24hourReadathon @DeweysReadathon
Demigod Thorn starts killing all the new gods created while he was imprisoned. He enlists LochNess ( hot lady spirit) to help. Like this sad one....the God of drowned children. Kinda like a story where Scottish lore meets shadow hunters.
Isla travels to Glasgow to uncover the mystery of her sister Lauren's disappearance. While retracing her steps, she discovers she has a super power - anything she draws comes to life and she can rewrite history. Isla falls in with a Scot demigod Thorn who knows what happened to her sister, but wants to use her powers to take back the pantheon he was banished from years ago.
