pickWebber's research explores how 6 individuals define their own ethnic identities, and the forces that have shaped them, and in doing so to show how power in particular has played a significant role in the lives of her participants. My key takeaway was the significant role that education can play in the kind of relationship young people develop with their own ethnic and cultural identities. I learned a lot.
