Atmospheric Australian crime fiction that kept me turning the pages to find out "whodunnit".

Would not normal read him but it is his latest and an op shop find. A little bit unsatisfying for me. Felt like I was reading a TV series.

Suet624 It looks like you‘ve had a tough time recently finding a good book to read. 🥴 (edited) 3y
Jeg @Suet624 exactly. When I started this book , I was hopeful. I have a bookshelf full of TBR books so fingers crossed I find something satisfying. 3y

Garry Disher is fast becoming my favourite crime writer. This one is as much about police culture and its toxic masculinity as it is about the mystery. Maybe not as good as the Hirsch trilogy, but a really good read nonetheless.
