Fun story about getting a chance to do it all over again. While the premise of this story obviously requires you to suspend your disbelief, there were some aspects to the story that felt to me as if they could have been ironed out a bit more.

10-4-25: My 65th finished book of 2025! Lexi is not having a good day. Anything that can go wrong has and she ends it blacking out from drinking too much. When she wakes up she is not where she had last been. Her entire life will change due to new development I. Ways she can‘t even fathom. It took awhile to get into this story and some of it aggravated me but by the end I enjoyed its direction. ⭐️⭐️⭐️📖#️⃣6️⃣5️⃣

I went into this book blind and was happily enjoying it, loving the writers writing style, the premise and the characters and then all of a sudden bam I was hit with all the feels and crying onto my Kindle.I loved the topics of grief, loss, closure and getting a chance for a do-over of your life. I look forward to a happy life of reading more Jeneva Rose books. This was a delightful hug in a book that I couldn't put down.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I usually hate time travel books. But this one was so well done. Lessons to be learned.
Bubblegum for the mind. This was an unexpected delight. Easy read - read in about 3 hours. Uncomplicated enjoyment.

Thirty-something Alexis drinks too much one night after a bad breakup, and wakes up in 2002 finding her 18 yo self “Lexi” in her college town. Awkward-so she poses as Lexi‘s older sister…can she stop Lexi from making big mistakes?? Delightful and poignant💗

I like this story. It‘s about a woman who meets her younger self and together they try to fix their own problems. This also feels like the ultimate second chance one would get in life, which we would all want.

4½⭐
If you‘ve been looking for a good time travel story that has the potential to touch your heart in more ways than one, then look no further. Our MC isn‘t the most likable character but this is a story about her growth as a person and it showcases that quite favorably. I really liked this…it actually seriously surprised me how much it affected me. If only we could really have a do-over…

An immature woman in her mid–30s involuntarily time travels to “fix” her younger self. Does it work (is she successful *and* am I satisfied as a reader)? Read my full review here: https://debbybrauer.org/#the-girl-i-was
