Ebook on sale today. Based on a true story and well-researched about one man‘s shifting loyalty to Robert the Bruce and the king of England. I was blown away by this book and I highly recommend it.

Based on a true person, and backed by research, this is the story of Robert the Bruce‘s nephew Thomas Randolph who changed allegiances between the Bruce and the Kings Edward. Written so well to help understand how someone could sympathetically find themselves in that position. Excellent story, well written. I‘m encouraged to look for book two if there is one. #letterN #litsyatoz
Finished two books this weekend, so thought I‘d catch up on all my challenges. I‘ve also planned out the rest of the year #foodandlit and #authoramonth challenges, which also help with some other challenges. Books in bold are to read, books in italics are current reads. Doing my best to finish #litsyatoz. Seven to go. I don‘t think I‘ll finish #readingasia2021 but I will have made a big dent!
I love looking up places referenced in the books I read. This is St. Mungo‘s Cathedral or the Glasgow Cathedral.

The cathedral was built in 1197, and the book is set in the early 1200s. Love that it‘s still standing.
My ebook about #Nepal (The Snow Leopard for #readingasia2021) is slow, so I‘m going to start this ebook to read intermittently with it. I needed the #LetterN for #litsyatoz2021, so was glad to pick up this freebie on Amazon yesterday.
