This story would be wonderful for higher level readers including fourth and fifth graders. I also think that this would be a story that could be beneficial for students that are going through moves, being bullied, etc. It brings light to those issues and how she faced the problems at hand as well.
The Baby-Sitters Club graphic novel by Chan Chau is a wonderful story that talks about Kristy Thomas and her adventures that take place after moving into a new house and going to a new school. This is a great novel for higher level readers that want to read a novel that is engaging, contains some humor, and relatable issues/topics.
“The meeting will now come to order.”
Graphic series that is based on a group of friends who baby sit. I think this is a great series for kids to connect with. The pictures are like anime and the text is small. It‘s a chapter book, great for older elementary.
I really enjoy these trips down memory lane. The graphic novel aspect brings it to life all over again.
