pickThe next book in Hancock‘s series featuring the journalist Heloise Kaldan and police sergeant Erik Schafer centers around a new case- a ten year old boy has gone missing from school. The plot takes some surprising turns and I liked aspects of this one even more than the first book. I wish that Finn‘s character has been handled differently though- that troubled me and felt unresolved on top of that. I‘m curious to see where the series goes next!
pick(I'm starting with reviewing my September books, while also catching up with my August books)
I didn't plan to read the second volume of this crime series, but it just came in handy, and now I'm glad I did continue, anyways. Hancock develops her characters, and has also made progress when it comes to story telling. I was more caught up in the plot than before, and liked the characters more. Guess, I'll now also read volume three.
