Pickpick

Such a harrowing read. That poor family trapped with a mad man. They tried everything they could to keep him happy so he would just leave but it wasn't enough. This covers his escape, his times with the family and the aftermath investigation of how this could even have happened in the first place. Its told in almost real time making it more chilling. We jump from the family with him to the Police and their various efforts to find and catch him. 4*

This was perfectly timed. I need a kick-start to my reading again. Been struggling since my operation but I'm missing it now. Not going to set a goal beyond just reading as much as I can.

Andrew65 Good luck, hope your recovering is going well. Sounds a horrific experience but at least you are past that now. Take care 😍 3y
kezzlou85 @Andrew65 it's a slow one but I'm getting there. It really was but can't spend my life dwelling on it. Just got to move on and heal now. 3y

Andrew65 @kezzlou85 Take it slowly and carefully and you‘re right to look forwards not backwards. 3y
kezzlou85 @PaperbackPirate aww thank you so much. 3y
kezzlou85 @Andrew65 yeah that's what I'm doing. The wound isn't healing as well as hoped so having to be extra careful now but I'm doing okay though. 3y
