Extremely readable, good characters and a horrifying tale but one which is believable and written about in other books.
I liked how we learn the history, that it's not a linear story.
Some of the latter parts seemed skimmed over but also it kept it brief.

Pinched this from my daughter, loved Vox and didn't know there had been a second novel too.

This book took me forever to finish because it was so real and it hits on a lot of topics that have been big political issues lately. But I was still interested.

My favourite of Dalcher‘s books for sure. This was dark AF. Really interesting spin on Herland, and felt all too possible, particularly the apocalyptic event being an economic crash 😬😬😬

I think this is my favourite book by this author so far. She writes dystopian fiction really well. I‘d highly recommend this one

These powerful, horrific descriptions keep you gripped, loving this book

I love this author. She definitely has a bit of a theme going. Basically, patriarchy is bad for women. In this one, the world has gone to shit and Miranda is forced to take her teen daughter and seek refuge at the women only colony her mother started. The author's idea of a women only colony is interesting to say the least.
